IWLA ARTICLE COMPETITION

The theme for the IWLA Article Competition is inspired by the current Covid-19 crisis. Whether we like it or not, we have all been forced to re-think things and do things differently because of this crisis. We are asking participants to write an article about those things.

Perhaps you have learnt something new. Perhaps you have changed or plan to change your practice as a legal professional as a result of this time.

The courts have had to change due to Covid-19. You may consider some of these to be positive developments that should be kept but others to be negative changes that should not be retained once this crisis is over.

Covid-19 has forced the world to pause. At some point it will start again. Given that we have a chance to re-start how should we do things differently this time round to ensure there is equity between the genders?

The winner will receive €500 with two runners up receiving €250 each. The three shortlisted articles will be published on our website (www.iwla.ie).
